Goose Creek, S.C.-based Quoizel has announced the retirement of second-generation Phillips family executive Toni Phillips, who has called the company’s Long Island, N.Y. offices home for decades. Rick Seidman, President of Quoizel, released a statement to customers last week announcing the New York office closure and Phillips’ retirement.
“This move is a bittersweet moment for us,” Seidman remarked regarding the relocation of the Customer Care & Order Writing functions of the New York office to its headquarters in South Carolina. Quoizel’s New York Office closed as of October 1.
“As we complete our relocation process, we will be operating ‘business as usual’ without service interruption,” Seidman noted, adding all contact numbers and emails will remain the same. All mail correspondence should use the Corporate Office address: 6 Corporate Parkway, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
Regarding Phillips’ retirement,” Seidman said, “We know [Toni’s] absence will be felt not only by us, but the lighting showroom community in general. We thank her for all the contributions she made to ensure Quoizel and its customers’ success throughout the years. Toni, you will be missed, and we wish you lots of enjoyment in your new full-time role as grandmother to Beckett and Dylan.”
