Nora Lighting, based in Commerce, Calif., has announced the company’s expansion with two new rep agencies.
North & South Lighting Sales will oversee North Carolina and South Carolina showroom sales. Starry Lights & Associates, headquartered in Pittsburgh, will handle Nora Lighting in Kentucky, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Fred Farzan, Nora Lighting’s President & CEO, says the expansion was necessary as the demand for products, especially LEDs, “has been on a fast-paced trajectory.” Nora Lighting offers an extensive selection of LED dedicated and retrofit downlights; track and rail fixtures; edge-lit panels; multi-lighting systems; linear and under cabinet lightbars; puck lights; pendants, step lights, emergency/exit signs; and high-output, Hy-Brite, side-lit, color correlated RGB, RGBW, and standard tape lights. In addition to LED fixtures, the company manufactures incandescent, fluorescent, and HID sources, plus an expanding series of accent lights including pendants and sconces.
“As we embrace an exciting time of tremendous growth, we are fortunate to have two highly experienced showroom sales teams on board,” Farzan adds. “This means more demand for technical support, and these firms are well-equipped to work with lighting designers, installers, and specifiers. They will do a fine job of representing the Nora line.”
