Hinkley Lighting Announces Leadership Transition

HINKLEY LIGHTING ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP TRANSITION

Cleveland-based Hinkley Lighting – a nearly 95-year-old business on its fourth generation with the Wiedemer family – has made some executive changes to align with the company’s future growth.

Rick Wiedemer, who recently celebrated his 45th year with Hinkley, has assumed the title of Chief Executive Officer with his eldest son, Jess Wiedemer, who has just been named President and Chief Operating Officer. Eric Wiedemer (Jess’ brother) is now Vice President and General Counsel of the company.

“In any successful family business, there is a normal transition of leadership and it is important to lay a foundation for continued growth,” says Rick Wiedemer. “I look forward to continuing my daily involvement from another vantage point and would like to congratulate Jess and Eric for making the commitments necessary to achieve our goals.”

The entire team at Hinkley looks forward to a successful 2015 and beyond with this new structure in place. “Our continuing leadership, passion for our business, and our collective desire for continued growth and success will remain unchanged,” Wiedemer comments.
