On Wednesday, April 15, the Dallas Market Center (DMC) will be providing attendees of Dallas Design Week with a unique opportunity to preview what LIGHTOVATION is all about through a special luncheon and guided tour of select, premium lighting showrooms that are typically only open during LIGHTOVATION in January and June.
Among the lighting showrooms that will be open to designers during this special afternoon tour are Eurofase, Progress Lighting, Quoizel, Hammerton, and Swarovski. Then, celebrate the launch of Better Homes & Gardens’ latest issue of Lighting magazine – produced in partnership with the American Lighting Association (ALA) – plus the chance to win up to $15,000 in products.
Participating showrooms on the Trade Mart’s third and fourth floors will also be open 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. to welcome designers.

Dallas Design Week will run April 15-18 at the Dallas Market Center. Additional events include a Lunch & Learn with Rick Janacek (founder of Handley Drive), who recently joined Uttermost as Creative Director for its Revelation brand; a Dine + Design IDCEC-credit event with industry experts Gary Inman & Donna Vining on Creating Beautiful Designs While Crafting A Successful Business; and a Meet & Greet cocktail hour with Emmy-winning TV personality Carson Kressley of the groundbreaking series Queer Eye and Bravo’s new hit Get a Room with Carson & Thom. Other renowned designers making presentations during Dallas Design Week are Denise McGaha at Currey & Company and Dann Foley at Cambria Stone.
