As one of the sponsors of the 23rd annual ARTS Awards, enLIGHTenment magazine is proud to reveal the finalists as announced by the Dallas Market Center and the Accessories Resource Team (ART). The winners will be named during a gala event at Hilton Anatole Hotel on Saturday, January 21, 2012, held concurrently with the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market.
“Congratulations to all of the ARTS Awards finalists,” said Bill Winsor, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “It is an honor each year to celebrate the industry’s finest manufacturers, retailers, product designers, and sales reps.”
All of the finalists will submit a comprehensive portfolio to the panel of judges that includes Martha Griffin, executive editor of Design Guide; Donna Moss, interior designer, retailer, and star of HGTV’s Donna Decorates Dallas; Melanie Belew, interior designer and owner of Belew Design Studio; and Susan Inglis, producer, importer, sourcing agent, and broker in the home furnishings, fashion, and gift industries.
The portfolios detail each company’s history, philosophy, product development, marketing, merchandising, and customer relations. In November, the judges will convene in Dallas for two days to review the submissions. Once judging is completed, a designated accounting firm will tabulate and secure the ballots until the winners are announced in January.
