Special Opportunity: ALA Members Invited to Lighting One Educational Session

Lighting showroom members of the American Lighting Association (ALA) who are not part of Lighting One™ are invited to attend Lighting One’s featured educational presentation, occurring during its annual convention at the Downtown Marriott City Center in Dallas on Monday, June 20. Normally, the educational seminars at the Lighting One Conference are only open to its membership; however, this year the inclusion was offered in light of the change in plans regarding the ALA’s 2016 Conference.

“It is my belief that the two most important benefits from the ALA Conference are education and networking,” notes Gregg Garofalo, President of Lighting One. “Personally it was a catalyst for my career and relationships with many showroom owners and staff. Welcoming all ALA showroom members to attend the Monday Educational Session at the 2016 Lighting One Convention is a great way to continue to strengthen [our] partnership with the ALA and [our] commitment to the industry.”

Celebrating its 15th year, Lighting One is hosting its annual convention immediately prior to the LIGHTOVATION show (formerly known as the International Lighting Market), which is held at the Dallas Market Center. With a joint emphasis on education and networking, the ALA and Lighting One executive teams found the timing and circumstances ideal for expanding their lighting showroom members’ educational opportunities this year. As in the past, ALA members have the opportunity to enroll in training classes at the ALA Seminar Center in the Dallas Market Center and earning CEU credits. Furthermore, it is hoped that this synergy between the two organizations at the same time in Dallas will will encourage more showrooms to attend both venues.

There are only 100 seats available; please contact Lighting One for details.
