If a desk lacks space for anything but a laptop and a stack of papers, Piani performs double-duty by o ering task lighting plus a catch-all tray. Created by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the Piani has an ABS injection-printed lamp body and a di user that is injection-printed optical PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate). An electric transformer is on the plug, and the on/o function is accessed via a switch on the cable. Piani is available in Black, Green (shown), Red, and White plastic or in Oak Wood and Basalt Stone.
