Authenticity Lighting Announces Its Doors Will Close

Authenticity Lighting LLC, a company formed by Murray Feiss, Robert Greene and Ron Hersh, has announced that it will be closing its doors. The company came into the market in 2011 and introduced upscale decorative lighting through retail lighting showrooms throughout North America.

According to the principals, who had founded Murray Feiss Lighting in 1955 and then sold it in 2004, the current economic climate was not in sync with their plan to cater to a portion of the consumer marketplace that has been under-served in the past. Reached for comment, Ron Hersh says, “We came back into the industry because we missed the people and the process. The relationships we built over so many years have meant so much to us and we will miss that aspect of the business most of all. We thank everyone in all corners of the lighting trade who supported us at Authenticity and during our tenure at Murray Feiss.”

The company plans to wind down its operations over the coming weeks.
