ALA Raffle to Benefit Education Foundation
The Education Foundation Raffle – typically held during the American Lighting Association (ALA) annual conference – will be hosted online this year in light of the conference’s cancellation due to Zika virus concerns.
Open to all ALA members, there are four chances to win. Sponsored by Progress Lighting, there will be two drawings: one on October 10, and the other on October 17.
Here’s how it works: Members who purchase their raffle tickets before midnight CDT of October 7, will be entered into the First Drawing — and those who don’t win will also have their raffle tickets entered into the Second Drawing on October 17 as a perk for purchasing early.
Those members who miss the October 7 deadline, or who wish to participate in the Second Drawing only, must buy their raffle tickets by midnight CDT on October 14 in order to qualify for the October 17th drawing.
In each of the two drawings, the same two prizes are offered: one $800 Apple gift card and one $500 airline voucher to the airline of the winners’ choice. Naturally, the more raffle tickets purchased, the greater the chances are of winning.
$25 = 5 Raffle Tickets
$50 = 11 Raffle Tickets
$100 = 25 Raffle Tickets
The ALA Education Foundation is a non-profit foundation established to support the association’s educational programs, and tasked to ensure the programs are relevant, up-to-date, and convenient for members to access.
